It is an online greeting card program that allows the retailer to choose a card from their own computer from an online website, for anyone at anytime within 60 seconds, for less than $1 and have it mailed by the post office automatically. This greeting card software is a must for retailers and anyone who wants to thank their customers or friends with treats, gifts or gift cards.
They are actual full color greeting cards, not email cards, and there is an inventory of 14,000 different cards to choose from in the program. They include postcards, two fold cards and three fold cards. Each can carry the retailer's information and be mailed directly to a specified recipient.
It is run by web based software hosted by Buy Wise at www.customgreetingcards4less.com, and retailers can buy a license that gives them access to the program for a one time charge of $99. This package includes PicturePlus, which allows the retailer to include custom images in the mailings. For example, Debbie Burks of Buy Wise says, "They can include their logo, business card, photo of their store, or a product photo with the card they choose from our inventory of thousands of cards in the system."
Use of the system begins with a contact manager component, into which the retailer inputs or imports the names and addresses of people the store wants to contact. The retailer then selects the person, or a group of people, he or she wants to send to. This can be done singly, such as sending a thank you to a recent customer, or broad scale to reach an entire customer list and/or list of prospects with a holiday greeting, for example.
Costs start at 31 cents for a postcard, a regular greeting card costs 62 cents, and a 3 panel greeting card is just 93 cents. You can add 5 or more pictures to any card for an additional 31 cents. If you design a custom product card with 3 panels and loaded with pictures, it's just $1.24.
Postage is sold separately, and Buy Wise provides the retailer with an expense account into which the retailer deposits money to cover postage. All expenses are updated instantly for the retailer.
Once the retailer selects the card, uploads the photo if utilizing that option, and identifies the recipient(s), Buy Wise prints the card and the envelope and mails it. The cards themselves are top quality, glossy, beautifully rendered works of art.
Buy Wise offers upgraded versions of the Retail Package, which include all of that program's features, but adds such additional ones as the retailer's signature in a choice of handwriting fonts.
Among the kinds of direct mail campaigns that can be implemented are notices of special sales, new product announcements, birthday greetings, party invitations, get well wishes, and other announcements and messages. Or in less than 60 seconds, a simple thank you card will be printed and mailed for you.
You can also send brownies, chocolates, cookies, books, magazines, or choose a gift card from Walmart, Starbucks, American Express and others in less than a minute.
Debbie Burks says a lot of her clients love to include a gift card, like the Starbucks Gift card, in a simple thank you card. Burks also points out, "People will forget what you say and what you do, but they will remember how you make them feel." And the company slogan is, "Changing Lives, One Card at a Time."
