Literature: All items in current inventory are posted on the company website, and new designs are added every week.
Minimum Order/Pricing: The minimum order is $250, but for beginning customers, the minimum is negotiable, management says. Wholesale pricing ranges from about $2 per unit for lower end product, and goes up to $100 a unit for designer items. Retail pricing typically rages from two to four times wholesale cost, with an average of three times wholesale. There is no minimum per item, which allows retailers to obtain a broad assortment of designs in a single order.
Special Features: The company works with people who mine the stones, which allows Semiprecious.com to eliminate layers of middlemen, in order to offer genuine semiprecious stones at affordable prices. Semiprecious.com maintains inventory in a large warehouse, and its suppliers replenish stock automatically, to help ensure prompt fulfillment of retailers' orders. Bulk lot assortments are featured on the website to provide retailers with a pre selected assortment of top selling designs.
Management Says: "We've developed many ways, including alliances with mine owners, designers and jewelry makers, to obtain a large selection of quality product and operate efficiently, so we can make genuine semiprecious jewelry affordable to a wide range of retailers. Our products are so affordable, some people ask if our stones are real. They are." -Anup Pandey, owner.
