Plush cupcakes, skull shaped coin banks and metallic balls are more than just fun and games at Toy Network LLC. Those products are the latest stock fueling the company's success. Ready as ever to meet the latest toy industry demands for neon knickknacks, Toy Network greets the coming Halloween and holiday seasons with a fresh supply of merchandise and a new online program for buyers.
The company was started in 1992 and quickly became profitable in direct shipping. Due to an increasing demand for its products, a domestic location was opened in 2000 to support customers looking to buy smaller bulk quantities, as opposed to full containers. Currently, products can be purchased in orders of either size at a competitive price, which is a company priority, according to Joe Rinaldi, VP of sales and product development. "Our competitive pricing, colorful merchandise and the fact that these items are trendy right now makes our products stand out," Rinaldi says.
Toy Network goes above and beyond the norm to cater to its customers' needs. "We work to integrate our social media sites on our website, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn," Rinaldi points out. "All of our current fliers and information can be found on our Facebook page. We also like to include information on trade shows we attend, and any company news." Most recently, the company tweaked its website pages to cross-sell and up-sell more efficiently. "The pages offer more content to customers based on the products they have purchased in the past and products they are currently looking at," Rinaldi explains. "For our redemption customers, we have now created the TOPS program." An acronym for Total Online Partner System, the TOPS program helps safely distribute purchasing responsibilities from a central headquarters to the individual game managers at the individual store level.
The company is confident that TOPS is the perfect solution for any company's single and satellite location ordering requirements. It provides customer-specific websites with secure logins for administrators and an unlimited number of admitted users. Members can then add or remove items, set maximum purchase allowances, assign ticket values and utilize every possible tool to help accelerate profits. TOPS works hand in hand with the existing Toy Network customer service department, and provides fast shipment, digital packing lists, electronic invoices, and automatic confirmation emails. The program can be accessed easily at the home landing page of the Toy Network website.
