A&W SURPLUS live auctions, which take place online every other Sunday at 11 p.m. eastern time, keeps adding new products to its offerings. Slot machines for home, personal use, and electric and gas scooters are among the types of products that are joining the company's selection, according to Wayne Peckham, owner.
The auctions take place online and at the company's Fresno, CA warehouse. Those interested in bidding can browse the catalog online at www.bidspotter.com prior to each auction. The online catalog includes photos of the more than 100 items that are typically auctioned at each session.
Information next to each photo describes the item in brief and tells what quantities are available for bid. In some cases, the suggested retail price of the item or items is also included.
Although products differ from session to session, the selection is always vast. Entertainment systems and audio/video equipment and accessories; tabletop from complete dinner sets to mugs, plates and salad bowls; and office supplies ranging from reams of paper to fax machines, are among the typical offerings, along with everything from flags to figurines.
In order to find specific auction dates and preview upcoming merchandise, retailers should visit www.awsurplus.com and click, "live auctions," which links directly to the bidspotter website. There is also a click for free online help.
