CGM was created in 1998 with the intent to provide quality distribution of films reaching from small retailers to chain stores.

In 2004 Continental expanded its frontiers into the general merchandise distribution offering VMI (Vendor Inventory Management) and merchandising services to important retailers in Southern California from mom & pop grocery stores and supermarkets, to medium and mass retailers such Walgreens, Kmart, Curacao, Vallarta, and more.
